I was very proud to work with Matt Parkes and the team at Caritas Westminster to create the Cardinal’s Lenten Appeal 2018. We took a new approach with the aim of building a stronger relationship with supporters. We thanked donors for previous support, showed them the amazing work they’d made possible, and demonstrated ongoing need. As part of the project, I was lucky enough to visit two projects – a food bank and a refuge for trafficked women – to talk to staff, volunteers and users.
